Located in Chester Pennsylvania, Widener University has trusted Independence Fire to protect their campus since 2012. Since then, we perform the yearly inspection, testing and maintenance services for over 50 buildings. We have performed and completed many different types of projects; from Laboratory and Classroom retrofit installation construction during the summer months, to the completion of 73,000 square foot, four-story residence hall with apartment style units and full kitchens. Other special hazard work includes pre-action type fire suppression and the completion of the 2018 Alumni Hall Renovation, featuring specialized piping installation in this historic circa 1800s building.
